UK bed bugs are evolving: Why sprays aren't working

Travellers and households could face tougher infestations as some bed bugs no longer respond to widely used chemical sprays. Experts said resistant populations are increasing across the UK, while ineffective DIY treatments may allow the insects to survive and multiply. One London borough recorded 155 infestations in six months, including 52 during June alone.
