Uber cutting 3,300 jobs to simplify its business
Uber is laying off about 10% of its global staff, or 3,300 roles, in its biggest cuts since the COVID-19 pandemic. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said the changes will reduce management layers and reallocate spending into ride-sharing, delivery, and robotaxi businesses. The company plans to invest over $10 billion into robotaxis in the coming years.
