Turkey’s S-400 missile defense system sanctions dispute nearing end
Progress could ease tensions between two allied countries. On April 17, the U.S. ambassador to Turkey said Washington and Ankara are likely to resolve sanctions linked to Turkey’s purchase of Russian S-400 systems. Speaking in Antalya, Tom Barrack also said acceptance back into the F-35 programme would be acceptable from the U.S. side.
