Trump says US stopped China ship for Iran
Tensions could rise further as Washington says it intercepted a shipment linked to Iran during fragile ceasefire talks. Donald Trump said US forces stopped a ship carrying what he called a “gift from China”, adding the cargo was “not very nice” and suggesting it may have been meant for Tehran. He said he was surprised because he believed he had an understanding with President Xi.
