Trump says new PM Andy Burnham will end UK 'poverty disaster'

Andy Burnham will become Prime Minister today and plans policy changes, including on North Sea oil. Donald Trump welcomed Burnham's approach to open up North Sea oil, saying it will take the UK from a "Poverty Stricken Disaster" to a richer country. However, Labour's deputy leader Lucy Powell stated Burnham won't overturn a pledge to end new exploration licences.
