Trump says he is Iran's top assassination target after recent bombings

Donald Trump asserted on Wednesday that Iran continues to view him as an assassination target, declaring himself their "No. 1 target" after US airstrikes he commanded. He made these remarks during a NATO summit in Ankara, immediately after characterising Iran's current leaders as "a little loco" and "a little crazy." Iranian leaders have reportedly sought to assassinate Trump since late 2019 after he ordered the killing of General Qassem Soleimani.
