Trump announces 10-day Israel-Lebanon ceasefire

Trump said on Thursday that Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a 10-day ceasefire, taking effect at 5PM Eastern today. The deal followed direct calls with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli PM Netanyahu, after the countries' first meeting in over three decades this week in Washington. Trump has directed VP JD Vance, Rubio and the Joint Chiefs chairman toward a longer-term agreement.
