Toxic fumes from alleged petrol theft kill at least 37 in Nigeria

At least 37 individuals have perished after reportedly siphoning petrol from a pipeline in Nigeria's Rivers State. More than 100 people reportedly went to Okari Jetty on Thursday to collect refined fuel, with some collapsing and falling into the Bonny River. Nigeria's Security and Civil Defence Corps is investigating the incident.
