Toby Samuel wins first Grand Slam match, Cameron Norrie exits US Open

British qualifier Toby Samuel secured his first main-draw Grand Slam win at the US Open, beating Tomas Machac in dominant style. The 23-year-old came through three qualifying matches and won his first-round match in just over 90 minutes. However, fellow Brit Cameron Norrie, the 29th seed, suffered an early exit, losing to Luca Van Assche in four sets.
