TikTok rejects Irish parliament invitation to discuss dangerous driving videos

TikTok has turned down an invitation to an Irish parliamentary committee to discuss videos of dangerous driving. The refusal follows the deaths of five teenagers in County Kildare on Sunday, who were killed when their vehicle travelled the wrong way down a motorway. TikTok cited ongoing police and regulator investigations, and being the only company asked, as reasons for not attending.
