Three people were taken to hospital after a shooting in Braintree town centre on Monday, August 31, but their injuries are not life-threatening. Police have arrested one person and believe the firearms incident at Market Place was targeted, not random. Four men or boys between mid-teens and mid-20s were seen leaving the area.
