A young girl has tragically died after getting into trouble in a Yorkshire river, a sad reminder of water dangers. The 13-year-old was reported missing on Sunday evening in the River Wharfe, near Burnsall, in the Yorkshire Dales. She was rescued from the water but later died in hospital despite public and air ambulance efforts.
