Two senior aides to Donald Trump claim the state-owned business secretly intercepts aircraft and naval signals across Asia, Europe and North America. Beijing's embassy in Washington rejected these espionage accusations as completely baseless before the two presidents hold a planned summit this month. The US defence department previously added the freight group to a roster of businesses tied to the Chinese military during January 2025.
