Thailand halves visa-free stays to 30 days for 60 countries from September 15

Thailand's adjustment forms part of its strategy to address offences committed by foreign nationals and stop the misuse of its visa arrangements. The Foreign Ministry said that from September 15, tourists from 60 countries, including the UK, will get 30 days instead of 60. However, travellers from Peru, Brazil, and South Korea will be granted extended visa-exempt periods, lasting for as long as 90 days.
