Terror arrests after suspicious vehicles head for RAF Fairford
Five men held near RAF Fairford have been further arrested on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act, counter-terrorism police said on Sunday. Police said armed officers responded after a call at around 12.45am reporting three suspicious vehicles heading for the base, which hosts the United States Air Force. The men remain in custody, and an Army bomb disposal team has been examining the vehicles.
