Teen Who Recorded Mother's Murder Sentenced to Life

Tristan Roberts, 18, was sentenced to life in prison at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday, with a minimum of 22 years and six months, for the premeditated murder of his mother Angela Shellis, 45. He attacked her at their Prestatyn home on the night of 23 October 2025, before killing her at a nearby nature reserve. He recorded the attack on a dictaphone.
