Subaru recalls 541,000 SUVs over incorrect weight labels

Subaru is recalling more than 541,000 Crosstrek, Forester and Ascent SUVs in the US because their weight-rating labels contain incorrect information. Regulators warned the faulty labels could lead to vehicles being overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash. Subaru said it knows of no crashes or injuries linked to the issue and will send owners corrected labels free of charge.
