More than 160 Apache offshore workers have backed strike action in a pay dispute, Unite says, warning disruption could halt the Charlie platform and take the Forties Pipeline System offline. The Ineos-run network carries about 29% of UK oil and 30% of its gas. No strike dates are set. Apache called its final offer fair and says contingency plans are in place for the pipeline.
