Stolen phones could soon be useless in London

Your stolen phone might soon be unusable, as London police are pushing tech companies to make them so. The Met Police gave Apple, Google, and Samsung a deadline this week to share plans for stopping stolen devices from working. They want features like multi-factor authentication and global blocking to stop criminals from reselling them.
