Stockholm bus hits stop kills six near university

Several people were killed and others injured when a double-decker bus crashed into a bus stop on Valhallavägen in central Stockholm on Friday afternoon at 15:23 local time. Police have confirmed multiple casualties but have not yet disclosed the specific number of fatalities versus injuries. The empty bus was operated by Transdev and was not in service at the time. The driver has been arrested as part of routine procedure and police are investigating as involuntary manslaughter, stating there is no information suggesting it was an attack.
