Statins could lower dementia risk by 15% if taken earlier in life

A large 15-year study suggests common statins like Atorvastatin and Simvastatin can reduce dementia risk by about 15%. Dr Tummas Ternhamar noted that statins seem underused in people with type 2 diabetes, a key risk factor for cognitive decline.
