Starmer Moves to Ban Crypto Political Donations in UK
Prime Minister Keir Starmer's party plans to ban political donations made with digital currencies, following an independent report by Philip Rycroft published Wednesday. The report warns foreign interference in British democracy is real and persistent. Reform UK, which received a record £9 million cash donation from crypto investor Christopher Harborne, would face restrictions under the proposed ban.
