Starmer avoids answers on defence money plan
People still don't know how higher military spending would be paid for as ministers face growing questions over taxes, borrowing and cuts. During Prime Minister’s Questions, Sir Keir Starmer would not say when a 10-year defence plan would appear and declined to rule out tax increases. He said the document would be ready before the Nato summit on 7 July, after a delay of more than six months.
