Sri Lanka beat England by 16 runs to even ODI series 1-1

Sri Lanka won the second one-day international by 16 runs after captain Kusal Mendis hit a sparkling 121 from 100 balls. England's chase of 322 was hit when Jos Buttler pulled up with a hamstring injury on 66, although he later re-emerged. The series will now be decided at The Oval on Sunday, a match Buttler is set to miss.
