Spider-Man: Brand New Day pulls in $932m for second-biggest global opening

Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker in the fourth standalone film, which raked in $572m internationally outside North America. Final box office figures showed the movie scored $360m in the US and Canada to beat 2019's Avengers: Endgame locally. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige called the debut truly phenomenal after the studio's recent struggles.
