SpaceX Starship reaches orbit and deploys new Starlink satellites

SpaceX's Starship rocket successfully deployed its next-generation V3 Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit for the first time. The deployment happened despite an engine failure scare during launch from South Texas, which initially led SpaceX to say it wouldn't reach orbit. The new V3 satellites offer about 10 times more capacity than current V2 satellites, moving Starship closer to commercial service by 2028.
