Southampton manager apologises for Championship spying scandal

Southampton's manager Tonda Eckert has finally said sorry for the spying scandal that got the club kicked out of the Championship play-offs. He admitted his coaching staff secretly filmed rival teams' training sessions, including Oxford United and Ipswich Town, to work out their tactics and team selections. Southampton forfeited their spot in the final and received a four-point deduction for the subsequent season.
