South Korea now allows copyright for AI-assisted music

South Korea's music copyright body will now let creators register songs made with AI if a human played a major role in writing or composing them. The Korea Music Copyright Association's previous policy had blocked AI-assisted works due to copyright concerns. Creators must show how AI tools were used, and fully AI-generated songs are still not eligible for copyright.
