Video game creator Hideo Kojima was shocked when Sony ended their partnership this month in a June video call. The surprise decision left Kojima worried for his studio, Kojima Productions, as Sony had funded previous PlayStation exclusive titles. Microsoft's Xbox then stepped in to partner with his studio for funding and technical support on new games.
