Six-year-old Max Kuc dies after falling ill at football match

Max Kuc, six years old, died suddenly in December 2025 after falling ill while playing for North East Leeds FC. His mum Lucy said he had bravely fought and beaten cancer as a baby, which led to a liver transplant. She is now fundraising for a permanent home and new 3G pitch for the club, which has already raised £25,000.
