Sinner wins five-set match as Wimbledon begins

The reigning champion, Jannik Sinner, encountered a challenging beginning in his quest for a second consecutive Wimbledon championship. The men's world number one battled through a five-set victory on Centre Court as day one of the tournament got underway. Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka were also among the big names playing their opening matches.
