Singapore ministers to get big salary increases

Singapore's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong stated on Tuesday that his government had agreed to proposals for a significant rise in ministerial salaries. Junior ministers will now receive approximately S$1.2 million, seeing a single adjustment of up to 9%. Wong, whose own salary will rise to S$3.6 million, will donate his full increase to charity for the next five years.
