Secret UK plan reveals Iran war food shortage risk

Britain could face summer shortages of chicken, pork and other supermarket goods due to the Iran war. A secret government analysis warns CO2 supplies used in food processing and slaughter could fall to just 18 per cent in a worst-case scenario. The government stresses this is a planning exercise, not a prediction, and has already restarted a key CO2 plant.
