Scott Mills sacked from BBC Radio 2 breakfast show

Listeners to the UK's most-listened-to breakfast show woke to a surprise on Monday after its host was suddenly removed from the air. Mills, 53, was taken off air last Tuesday while allegations relating to his personal conduct were assessed, before his contract was terminated at the weekend. He averaged 6.5 million listeners and earned between £355,000 and £359,999 annually.
