Scotland's regional leaders get £52.1 million for local growth

The UK government has released the first part of a £140 million Local Growth Fund to five Scottish regions. The initial £52.1 million aims to create jobs and boost local economies by letting regional leaders design their own investment plans. The funding targets areas with lower household incomes, including West Dunbartonshire and Dundee.
