Saudi Arabia's fund gets EU approval to buy EA
The European Commission has given its approval for Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund to acquire Electronic Arts, a deal valued at $55 billion. The EU regulator concluded the deal would not raise competition concerns, unlike Microsoft's Activision Blizzard takeover. However, US lawmakers and game developers still have "profound concern" about the deal.
