Samsung to construct custom AI chip for OpenAI, expanding collaboration
OpenAI is broadening its collaboration with Samsung, now encompassing joint chip research and memory development. The new custom AI chip helps OpenAI reduce its reliance on single suppliers like Nvidia and TSMC, bringing Samsung deeper into the competitive AI chip market.
