Samsung profits jump 1,800% as global AI chip sales boom

Samsung Electronics expects its profits to soar almost 19-fold, driven by massive worldwide demand for artificial intelligence memory chips. The South Korean tech giant forecasts record quarterly operating profits for the third time in a row, with earnings close to Nvidia's earlier record.
