Sam Fender song tops chart after thirty-five weeks

Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have secured the top spot on the UK singles chart with their duet, Rein Me In. The track broke a record held by Ed Sheeran by spending 35 straight weeks inside the top 40 before climbing to the summit. This marks Fender’s first ever number one single, overtaking Taylor Swift after the song previously peaked at number five.
