Ryanair Faces Watchdog Check Over Family Seats
Holiday costs for some families could rise because a charge linked to sitting beside children is being examined. On 11 June 2026, the Competition and Markets Authority opened an inquiry into whether the airline's seating rules and pricing presentation follow consumer law. Ryanair says one paying adult can choose seats next to as many as four children on the same booking without extra cost for those children.
