A desperate space mission aims to save Earth from alien microbes destroying the sun in the new film Project Hail Mary. Ryan Gosling stars as Dr Ryland Grace, a molecular biologist who awakens on his spacecraft with no memory of his mission. He must rescue humanity, aided by a spider-shaped alien nicknamed Rocky, as flashbacks reveal his recruitment by Eva Stratt.
