Rwanda has signed a 10-year deal with Formula 1 to host a grand prix from the early 2030s, the first race in Africa since South Africa in 1993. It will run on a new purpose-built track in Bugesera, about 25 miles south of Kigali, beside a new international airport. President Paul Kagame said the agreement belongs to Africa and will bring new jobs and tourism.
