Rupert Grint accepts being known as Ron Weasley
Fourteen years since the final Harry Potter film, Rupert Grint, age 37, has made peace with his enduring link to Ron Weasley. At a Christmas lights event in Highgate, London, Grint told BBC News he is happy to be permanently known for the part. The actor also stated that he feels pride in the role and its impact on fans. Grint has reportedly penned a letter of encouragement to Alastair Stout, who will play Weasley in the upcoming HBO series.
