Royal Mint releases new Star Trek 50p coins for 60th anniversary

The Royal Mint has unveiled two new 50p coin designs, some featuring colour to reflect the show's vivid outfits. These collectable coins commemorate six decades of Star Trek's broadcast, becoming available from Thursday, September 3. Prices for the coins start from £19.95, with one design available individually from today and the second from November.
