Royal Mail warns over 80 UK postcodes face weekend delivery delays

Royal Mail says more than 80 areas across the country won't get their post on time this weekend. The postal service blames staff sickness and local resourcing issues, meaning they have to rotate drop-offs. Performance dropped significantly during the previous year, with just 77% of first-class letters delivered punctually against a required goal of 93%.
