Cristiano Ronaldo alleged that Portugal manager Jorge Jesus had gone back on his promise on two occasions, which prompted Ronaldo to depart from the national team camp. Ronaldo claimed Jesus first went back on an agreement for him to miss matches against Norway and Denmark. Then, after a meeting, Ronaldo said Jesus failed to publicly clarify events as promised, leading to his departure.
