Researchers Spot a Chinese AI Agent Fleet Probing Alibaba's Maps

Researchers say a fleet of AI agents, apparently running on Tencent infrastructure, has been repeatedly querying Alibaba's Amap service. The agents asked for directions to entrances at parks, a zoo and a hospital, leaving traces in logs from the URLquery scanning tool. They see no coordination between them and think they are sidestepping API rules, but say it shows how persistent agent activity has become.
