Reeves plans fix for 75% tax on US firm staff

Some people working for US firms from Britain could face lower tax bills if proposed changes go ahead. Rachel Reeves is considering changes to rules affecting workers at US limited liability companies, and said action would follow a consultation ending in July. Officials said some workers face tax in both countries, pushing effective income rates above 75 per cent, while legislation may be needed to fix the issue.
