Chelsea captain Reece James suffered a knee injury in training on Friday, leaving his return date uncertain as he has a 'week-by-week' assessment. Midfielder Jamie Gittens will be out for about three weeks with an ankle injury sustained during international duty. Striker Emmanuel Emegha is back in first-team training after a hamstring injury, but his return to play is still unclear.
