Public consultations close on Rosebank and Jackdaw North Sea oil and gas fields

The UK government is now weighing whether to re-approve two North Sea oil and gas fields after public consultations closed. Jackdaw, a gas field off Aberdeen, could connect to the UK network within months if approved. Rosebank, off Shetland, represents the UK's most substantial undeveloped oil field, with operations anticipated to commence by 2027.
